Businesses in the Waterloo area can register for free local area updates via the CommunitySafe programme. CommunitySafe is a Metropolitan Police and local Council supported scheme providing a central point of real-time advice and information on counter-terrorism and crime reduction from the Police and your local council.

 

Businesses and members of the public can register for free updates to be sent to their email and, for the price of a standard text, updates to be sent to their mobile phone.

 

Subscribers can also receive annotated maps showing cordons and closed roads, in addition to other information provided by the Police and partners.

Go to www.communitysafe.gov.uk to create a profile and register for updates. Businesses and residents in the Waterloo area can register for the following groups via the 'browse groups' option on the menu bar.

 

- Lambeth North Safer Neighbourhoods Team (non-urgent local policing updates)

- Lambeth North Urgent updates (group to be launched shortly)
