|London Health Commission Awards|
Following overwhelming interest in the awards,¬†London-based small/medium companies with up to 250 staff now have an extra two weeks to apply to ensure all those eligible have the opportunity to enter.
The Awards, held every two years, aim to recognise and reward achievement in improving well-being and highlight partnership working between businesses, community organisations, and the public sector.
Winners will receive a series of prizes including exclusive use of a winner’s logo, trophy and certificate, a promotional film about your business, training and pro-bono support.
Businesses can also enter the Mayor's Award for Active Travel in partnership with Transport for London – for businesses that encourage walking and cycling.
The deadline for applications is June 18th 2010, after which time, a shortlist of entrants will be drawn up. The Commission will then conduct site visits to gather more information and assess projects. Winners will be announced at a gala event on September 20th 2010 to be held at Senate House, London WC1.
